MFA Oil's 70+ location convenience chain taps Lula to manage digital ordering across Missouri

Break Time Convenience Stores Partner with Lula Commerce to Launch Third-Party Delivery

Philadelphia, PA (April 7, 2026)Break Time, the convenience store chain owned and operated by MFA Oil Company, has partnered with Lula Commerce to launch third-party delivery ordering across its locations in Missouri.

The partnership will bring Break Time's full convenience offering to customers through DoorDash, from snacks and beverages to fresh food and everyday essentials, with nicotine products also available for delivery. Lula Commerce will manage the end-to-end digital operations, from menu setup and inventory syncing to order management and marketplace optimization.

Break Time has served Missouri communities since 1985, building a reputation for quality fuel, fresh food and coffee through its AnyTime Eats and Roaster’s Café programs, and a broad selection of everyday convenience items. With Lula, the chain is taking its first major step into managed digital commerce, bringing those same products to customers' doorsteps without adding operational complexity to its stores.

"Break Time has been a staple in Missouri communities for over four decades, and this partnership gives their customers a new way to shop their favorite stores," said Adit Gupta, Co-founder and CEO at Lula Commerce. "We're handling the digital heavy lifting so Break Time's team can stay focused on what they do best: running great stores."
“We’re thrilled with our recent partnership with Lula Commerce! We want to be able to serve our customers across every channel, and our customers are turning to digital, so we needed to do the same,” said Brayde Rothe, Category Manager at Break Time Convenience Stores. “We're currently live with this offering across select locations and planning on wider availability in May 2026. We're working hard towards becoming a preferred convenience destination in mid-Missouri, and this partnership will allow us to stand out and implement more digital programs to both new and existing customers.”

The partnership reflects a growing trend among regional convenience chains bringing their full product catalog online, from snacks and beverages to fresh food and everyday essentials. Break Time's rollout also includes nicotine product delivery through DoorDash, an increasingly popular category that requires careful compliance handling. Lula's platform manages age verification and regulatory requirements automatically, making it easy for retailers to offer their complete assortment without added operational risk.

Lula's platform will manage marketplace relationships, ensure menu accuracy across channels, and provide reporting and insights to help Break Time optimize its digital performance.
